Special Guest To Join LCD Soundsystem At Coachella — A Real James Murphy Designed Soundsystem

Co-designed by John Klett and 2ManyDJs

What's better than seeing a reunited LCD Soundsystem at Coachella? How about hearing them through a Soundsystem James Murphy himself designed.

As EDM.com reports, the Despacio soundsystem was custom designed by Murphy, along with help from audio engineers John Klett and brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, better known as 2ManyDJs. Development took over two years, and though a planned debut at Ibiza never happened, it's unveiling at Manchester's New Century Hall was met with universal praise. Babycakes Romero was quoted as saying: "I'm an atheist but its the closest thing I have ever had to a religious experience."

It isn't entirely confirmed that the system, which was originally intended for mid-size clubs and not massive festivals, will be used for the latter. But in the name of religious soundsystem experiences, we hope so.
