For those who don't buy into the 'happy holidays' schtick, this time of year can actually be a lonely, isolating and a total bummer that finds you stuck in some outer suburb staring at a plate of overcooked turkey and vegetables while kids scream and adults argue. For Sydney's David Scutts aka WEET, it's a time of year that has him releasing "Ugly, Cumcrusted, Unwanted and Alone", his most recent piece of lo-fi R&B.Following an excellent EP released earlier this year on Paradise Daily, the new track features deep bass lines and heavily auto-tuned vocals that add to the sense of isolation and detachment. At one point you can hear a buge being smoked followed by a cough. As he sings, "I respect your decision but it wont stop me wishing/ I hate how I listen to you say goodbye" you can almost hear him muttering under his breath to the classic question asked at this time of year "Whatya doin' for New Years?"
