Spark Up with BOYTOY's New Video "Blazed"

Shot in (mostly) one long take, it's like an OK Go video without the gimmicks. And with more pot.

Brooklyn's BOYTOY have always been a somewhat summery band, and the perfect pairing of lead guitarists Glenn Van Dyke's brand of crunchy garage rock with lead singer's Saara Untracht-Oakner's sweet-as-clove-cigarettes coo. Noisey premiered their debut EP last spring as we got the ready for the hot 'n' sweaty months. Now as the vernal equinox approaches (FYI it's on 9/22), BOYTOY return with a new video to cast us back those beautiful beach days in the summer haze and weed fog.

Similar to that insane single take action sequence from True Detective, but less violent, "Blazed" is a loosely choreographed long take following the journey of a joint from the backstage to the backseat of a cherry red beach-buggy. Spark a j and watch "Blazed" above. Also, catch BOYTOY on tour, dates below.
