After a successful run that included work on Kanye's future shock opus Yeezus and Björk's heart-strong breakup album Vulnicura as well as last year's critically acclaimed Zen, Venezuelan producer Arca returns today with "Washed Clean." He quietly slid it onto his Twitter this morning and promptly quipped "You're welcome" to a fan that joked that the beat never dropped.

He's right; drums are scarce. But Arca's slow build from ambient synth washes to the maelstrom of crashes and police sirens that close the song could easily pass for audio of Godzilla making landfall.
