Watch Travis Scott Give a Coherent Performance of "Antidote" on Kimmel

Let's learn to look on the bright side.

I've seen Travis Scott perform more often than I'd like to admit, and "coherent" is not a word I would typically associate with the scene. There's normally a lot of jumping around and flailing happening, all while Scott's song plays in the background. The thing that makes this Kimmel performance of "Antidote" so special is that he doesn't rely on any of those antics, and the end result is better for it.

Taking to a stage with two huge screens behind him illuminated with desert landscape, Travis bounced across a stage adorned with cow skulls and oak barrels scattered around as props as he sang and rapped almost every bar. Outside of a organized mosh-pit, none of Scott's typical tricks took the stage, forcing the young performer to rely on talent alone. Whether or not you're a fan of him, it doesn't appear that he'll be leaving the scene any time soon, so it may be best to just learn to appreciate the good.
