Superhumanoids Covered Queens of the Stone Age So You Can Do Drugs at Work, Kind of

L.A. based band Superhumanoids just made a cover of Queens of the Stone Age’s “Feel Good Hit of the Summer” and it’s like a hit of sonic acid (pun intended, because drugs are sweet, even if not actually technically legal in your workplace). Buzzy vocals loop, repeating “nicotine, Valium, Vicodin, marijuana, ecstasy and alcohol” as they crescendo into a chorus of vices. The video, directed by Griffin Frazen, is just as druggy as the song, but don’t expect any nasty acid flashbacks. It’s all good vibes, a shaky, cosmic trip that begs you to turn up the volume, blur your vision and drift. Clocking in at just over two minutes, it’s the perfect mid-Excel sheet escape.
