Mainstay Melbourne DJ and producer Jamie Lorusso-Zyskind AKA Prequel recently released his second EP on Bradley Zero's Rhythm Section International, 'Freedom Jazz Dance.' A nod to Lorusso-Zyskind's love of Detroit house, soul, jazz, and late-night soundtracks, 'Freedom Jazz Dance' was a reeling, textured thing that solidified him as a voice in a hugely interesting scene of new voices in Australian dance music.

Recorded live ahead of the upcoming TAXX parties in Melbourne (Boney, Thursday January 26) and Sydney (Freda's, Friday February 3)—whose line ups boast Prequel himself, Sam Weston, Hubert Clarke Jr & LUEN—this Prequel mix we have the pleasure of premiering today on Thump is a real vibe-starter.

Listen to the mix below. And see more about TAXX's upcoming parties here.
