Quit your bah humbuggin' for now, Indie-dance deities LCD Soundsystem have released their first new track in over five years, and it's a holiday gift for us all titled "Christmas Will Break Your Heart."

"There's been this depressing christmas song i'd been singing to myself for the past 8 years," said LCD ringleader James Murphy on Facebook yesterday. Turns out that earlier this month, Murphy gathered Al Doyle, Phil Mossman, Nancy Whang, and Tyler Pope, and the group recorded the track, and within weeks, it has appeared as a 7-inch vinyl release.

Since breaking up in 2011, LCD Soundsystem not looked like getting back together at all. Whether the existence of the track should fuel rumors of a reunion is up to you, but it will at least mope up your Christmas in the most delightful way possible.
