This Week’s Best Pins Are Like “Rock Paper Scissors” for Goths

Featuring new pins from Midnight Dogs, No Hours, Lost Lust Supply, Yeeeah Studio, and Midnight Society.

As the founder of Strike Gently Co , I deal in pins and patches daily. The Creators Project asked me to pull together a weekly roundup of the best newly-released pins. Most of these will probably sell out. If you like them, smash that "add to cart" button.

Midnight Dogs

I know what you're thinking, 14-year-old reader: "What the hell is that?" It's an in-joke from one of the greatest cartoons of all time. Way back when times were simpler and the Earth was slightly cooler, the queen bee of P.S. 118 dedicated a chewing gum shrine to her favorite victim. Google it.

No Hours

This is a first: I accidentally almost featured two pins from this series, not knowing they're both from No Hours. That means No Hours deserves a ribbon, because I'm about as jaded on the pin game as Steely Dan is over playing Reelin' In The Years for literally years. This is one of the highest quality set releases I've ever seen: classy, original, and nicely priced. Booyah.

Lost Lust

Another knockout from Lost Lust, this pin features the rare "bells and whistles" chain that I still haven't figured out how to get manufactured on my own pins. Regardless, whether you were a shut-in child or, like me, spent about three hours slinging pebbles at passing cars until you got caught and were never allowed to own a slingshot again, this is a good pin.

Yeeeah Studio

Actually, this was a good week: instead of having to feature Simpsons bootlegs or enamel agitprop I can actually feature talented artists. This Kitsune pin from the ultra-legit Yeaaah Studio is understated, but bold enough to chill down any garment you place it on. Foxy!

Midnight Society

I've seen a lot of donut pins in my day, but they're all been sort-of terrible. Not this one: Midnight Society came through with a combination of well-produced and downright delectable; they also have a bunch of other donut types, as well as stuff for hipsters who are still into Stranger Things. There, I said it: I don't like Stranger Things.
