Aussie Hip-Hop Acts Come Together To Demand a Change of Australia Day Date

Urthboy, Thundamentals and L-Fresh the Lion are part of a crew that have created a song and video about 26 January.

Iconic Aussie hip-hop artists Nooky, Birdz (Nathan Bird), Urthboy (The Herd), Thundamentals (Tuka and Jeswon), L-Fresh the Lion, Tasman Keith, Ozi Batla, Kaylah Truth, Coda Conduct (Erica and Sally) and Hau (Koolism) have come together to create a new song and video calling for a change of the Australia Day date.

In an immersive 360 degree video the artists share their views on why Australia should come to grips with changing the date of Australia Day.

The song and video form part of NITV's #AlwaysWillBe project  – an array of programming and events on and in the lead up to 26 January that encourage a national discussion on what it means to be Australian today.
