Here's Moses Sumney's Extended Version of "Make Out in My Car"

Moses Sumney has released a new, extended version of his track "Make Out In My Car." The song – which originally featured on his album Aromanticism at a runtime of 2 minutes and 30 seconds – has been reimagined and fleshed out for this new cut, which runs at 4 minutes and 30 seconds.

The track's distinctive, lush strings and flute arrangement remain (with added flute solo, which: absolutely yes) and even get a little bit more breathing room on this new version. There's also a new vocal part, which is always welcome when Sumney's involved. He flexes his remarkable mid-register and falsetto, twisting and turning his voice around the foundation of the song's chorus, and opens up the song's possibilities, filling in gaps and creating new ones. It's lovely, and I wish more artists revisited their work in this way. Plus, I think that with this new version, we might have found the direct antithesis to the phrase "too much of a good thing." I want even more. Give me a day-long version, Moses, immediately.
