Day of The Dead is Going To Scare The Crap Out of You (In A Good Way)

The five spookiest tunes we're hoping to hear at Hard's Halloween fright fest.

On Wednesday, the folks at HARD released their lineup for their Halloween "encore" Day of the Dead. The line-up is truly on point and we love how they've seemingly incorporated the darker, spookier names in dance music. Here's five acts we hope to see and hear during that weekend in November.

1. NERO

UK pop dubstep kingpins Nero seem to be a perfect fit for this darkness-themed festival. Really hoping that they drop their full-on-fright masterpiece "Doomsday" at some point while we make goblin face.

2. GIORGIO MORODER

The disco godfather is 60-something years old and he's about to throw down at a festival with the likes of Skrillex and The Bloody fuckin Beetroots. The dude has swag at about 100 million. Envisioning him rocking a great Dracula costume while he drops Daft Punk's "Giorgio by Moroder." Really hoping he drops "Chase," the theme from

Midnight Express,

which sounds like being trailed down adark alley by a pack of evil leprechauns.

3. JUSTIN MARTIN

The DirtyBird players tore up the UnderGround stage at HARD Summer so we're excited for Justin's glory lap at the Dead dance. For some reason I can see him doing something involving pumpkins and I guarantee he'll have the funniest costume on the whole lineup. Justin, if you're reading this I think you should drop "Don't Go." It's spooky… and awesome.

4. ERIC PRYDZ aka CIREZ D

Wow, mad props to the people at HARD for locking down Mr. Prydz, who allegedly hates to fly, for this festival. This is the guy famous for massive progressive masterpieces that make you feel like traversing your way through some post-apocalyptic wormhole. Day of The Dead attendees are in for a big treat when Eric switches to his even darker techno alias, Cirez D. Watch the kandi kids go from twerk to terrified.

5. JACK BEATS

First off, these guys have a logo that looks like some sort of melted blob of slime (so Halloween!), in addition to an arsenal of tracks consisting of bass wobbles that come straight from the haunted house. Listen to the intro of this one and you'll know what I mean. Straight up Frankenstein shit!
