Melbourne-based jazzy electronic duo Slum Sociable have given Sampa The Great's "Blue Boss" a tasty little rework. The original track, the first single since Sampa's 2015 stand out, The Great Mixtape, is a rambling flow-driven track with an 8-bit beat. The Sydney-based neo soul whiz kid (and poet) has been compared to Erykah Badu, Chance The Rapper and even Kendrick Lamar. Slum Sociable have done away with the 8-bit beat and added a soft, swirling chorus of vocals and lead guitar.

The track is one of three remixes the duo have put together for an EP, which sees them try their hand at MOSSY and Mansionair singles too.
