Andre 3000's Wordy Jumpsuits Get Immortalized in Georgia

These bite-sized statements suit him.

Andre 3000 is without a doubt one of the sharpest-dressed rappers in the game. Over the course of his musical career, he’s proven to be the only man who can rock peacock feathers like he was born with them, and to don a fedora with the panache reserved for only the likes of Frank Sinatra and Al Capone. Now, his style is being immortalized as an exhibit at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Big Boi’s hometown.

For the OutKast reunion tour in 2014, Andre wore a series of black jumpsuits with bite-sized statements in stark white lettering across the front. Some bore political messages, (“across cultures, darker people suffer more. why?”), some were silly, (“fruit snack addict”) and some were a crossover (“art or fart?”). Overall, there are 47 jumpsuits in the collection that originally premiered at Art Basel in December under the title i feel ya. The exhibit premieres this Friday, July 17, but you can check out some of the suits below.

Now throw your hands in the ayer for Andre 3000 rocking his jumpsuit live at #ATLast, the final tour date of OutKast’s reunion tour.
