Noah likely saying, "Damn, Syndergaard be fast, huh?" Photo by Mark J. Rebilas—USA Today
Noah Syndergaard is tall and beautiful like a horse: this is common knowledge. What may not be common knowledge is that now a horse is tall and beautiful like Noah Syndergaard—and is named after him. Oh, and it's fast. Like, really fast.Over the weekend, Syndergaard (horse—no "Noah") won the Funny Cide Stakes (let's be honest, there are a lot of good names going around right now), and even caught the attention of Syndergaard (human).
According to The New York Times, Syndergaard (horse) is so fast that it has now become the favorite to win the Kentucky Derby. It's probably not 98.2 mph fastball fast, but it's at least gunning down other horses something impressive. And apparently, there are all kinds of horses named after Mets. Per The New York Times, there's a Cespedes, a DeGrom and even a Mr. Met. Why is there no horse named after Bartolo Colon?Victory was his, for he is Mighty https://t.co/NbQ64VY1Mn
