Moska's Remix of Galantis' "You" is Feelsy and Huge

The Scandinavian supergroup gets remixed by a Colombian up-and-comer

Swedish supergroup Galantis (consisting of Christian Karlsson of Miike Snow and Linus Elkow AKA Style of Eye) came out of nowhere and took over the main room earlier this year with their Galantis EP and a standout set at Coachella. The name Galantis might be new-ish to you, but the individuals behind it have produced hits for acts all over the pop spectrum, including Icona Pop, Madonna and Katy Perry. Now producing on their own terms, the duo bring all the swagger you'd expect of the big room, but they've also got that feels in abundance.

Their single "You" is a dreamscapey love song and the remarkable video features lonely humanoid space cats. When it came time to secure remixes, they got intercontinental and reached out to Colombian remix master Moska. His take on the track introduces tumbling rhythms and anthemic synth horns, maintaining the scope and size of the original but adding a whole new flair to the affair. Galantis were pretty stoked, telling THUMP: "We saved one of our favorite mixes for last. We are big fans of Moska and this mix is boss!"

Galantis "You" (Moska Remix) out 8/11 Beatport, 8/25 all DSPs via Big Beat Records
