Kevin Durant Will Respond If You Claim He Likes When People Fart in His Face

As you might imagine, Oklahoma City Thunder fans are incredibly salty with NBA champion Kevin Durant. The Finals MVP took to Twitter to fire back over the weekend.

Oklahoma City Thunder fans seem to be having a hard time dealing with the new NBA reality in which Kevin Durant is a champion with the Golden State Warriors. Even the actual city is not handling it well. While evidently on a flight this weekend, Durant came across some of these fans on Twitter, and he engaged several in alternatingly heated and hilarious exchanges. At one point, for instance, a woman accused him of liking to have women fart in his face during sexual encounters.

Things started innocently enough; Durant praised Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi for becoming the WNBA's all-time leading scorer Sunday night, and one of those aforementioned OKC fans saw an opportunity to take aim.

Minus the casual homophobia, it was all generally tame, but then we get to the fart stuff:

When Durant asks for a name, the fan refuses to put her on blast and the conversation begins to lag a bit. Westbrook MVP calls Durant a snake, a type of person she doesn't surround herself with (if you are wondering, she would surround herself with a more Westbrook type), and the Finals MVP uses this as an opening to insinuate that she has no friends, giving the convo new legs.

Now, here is where things get good. Would it shock you to learn that Westbrook MVP, as an obviously die-hard OKC fan, had her old, glowing tweets about Durant dragged back up during all of this? The Internet Never Forgets.

This whole conversation spawned many other smaller conversation between KD haters and KD lovers alike, but Durant was as efficient and devastating on Twitter as he was in the Finals, effortlessly disarming and throwing the haters aside like a former franchise that went nowhere.

Just let KD live, man.
