Ibeyi's Video for "Ghosts" Is as Beautifully Sparse as the Song Itself

There's a moment around the 2.40 mark when all you hear is the piano line and a message—"We ain't nothing without love"—delivered in a fragile, haunting quaver. Then the French-Cuban sisters unite in a layered refrain over palm-slapped beats and "Ghosts" morphs into a bright and joyful shimmy. These girls are magic, which of course we told you back in November when we interviewed the gorgeous siblings.

This video, released today, is the perfect complement to their sultry, breathily intimate tones. Ibeyi reveal themselves in fuzzy black and white negatives, images that bleed at the edges, their faces flickering, coming together and seperating. It's like found footage unearthed in an attic, film that's somehow captured lost souls, except you get the feeling these girls know exactly where they need to be.
