D-Pulse Play Guitars but We Still Love Them

...And their video for "Astronomers" left us floating in "The Void."

Look! A guitar! Yeah, we're a dance music outlet, but sometimes you just gotta tally up the bleepy bloopy vs. the string-based instrumentation, and D-Pulse's "Astronomers" was a clear win for electronica.

Although I'm sure there's a Vice article about ending up at some space-themed St. Petersburg after-hours somewhere in the archives, there's no reason to read it because this D-Pulse's video has pretty much already taken us there. This video features the Russian 3-piece's audio/visual installation titled "The Void," and the track is the first release from the forthcoming "Consequenced."

The track is dark, minimalist, and laden with tropes of psychedelia amidst all the sputnikery projected on the walls behind them. They're like Simian Mobile Disco's eastern cousins and I think we'll be in for the long haul.
