John Digweed Announces Forthcoming Release of 'Live In Miami' Album

The set was recorded this year at the storied Miami venue The Vagabond, which is officially closing for good.

The legendary DJ/producer and THUMP favorite John Digweed, or "Diggers" as we like to call him, just announced the latest installment of his globally revered Live In mix series. The series' newest edition will feature an exclusive live set from John's last night at The Vagabond Nightclub in Downtown Miami, recorded during this year's Miami Music Week.

The announcement of this three-disk release couldn't come at a more relevant time, as The Vagabond announced today via Digweed's Facebook page that it will be closing its doors for good. "It's with a heavy heart that I'm announcing that the time has come to bid farewell to The Vagabond," says Carmel Ophir, who co-owned the club with nightlife entrepreneur Rodney Mayo and John Digweed himself. "It's been a little over six years, and this chapter is coming to a close. That doesn't mean that the book is over, but this particular chapter is."

Digweed, who was a co-owner of this Miami mainstay, fittingly closed his final MMW set at Vagabond with The Doors' classic, "The End." The most recent Live In installment will serve as a heartfelt eulogy to a club that John holds very dear to his heart.
