Popcaan Saves the Summer and Announces His Sophomore Album, 'Forever'

The dancehall star shared a new single "Body So Good" ahead of the release.

What is the summertime without a new crop of dancehall tunes to serve as its soundtrack? Luckily for us, Jamaican star Popcaan always seems conscious of this—his debut Where We Come From came out in June of 2014, and he's always been good for a jam or two right as the weather starts to turn. This explains why this morning he announced that his sophomore album Forever would arrive during the year's best season. The record will be released through Mixpak just as his hit-filled debut was in 2014. The album doesn't have an official release date in place yet, but to hold fans over, Popcaan shared its breezy, easygoing lead off single in "Body So Good." The track joins pulsating bass hits with soothing guitar strums as Popcaan takes it home with his signature nasal crooning. Listen to the track below.
