Grum's "Straight To Your Heart" is Pure Euphoria

The Annie Mac supported upstart comes good on early promise

With the release of his latest tune, "Straight To Your Heart," Grum has effortlessly kept his signature sound intact. Debuted on Annie Mac's BBC Radio 1 show, the track packages many of the more progressive house elements of the previous Human Touch LP and seals it airtight into of jar of piano-laced euphoria. The sharper tone of the keys is the hallmark of the song and the warm Diana Ross-esque vocal line of, "Straight to your heart!" only finds a few moments to emerge, sending chills straight down your skeleton.

The bar was set unbelievably high with Grum's debut album Heartbeats and with that first release, he flew to the top of the UK iTunes charts. Within two years, he was already sharing the main stage at Creamfields with Tiësto.  His sophomore album Human Touch dropped in April on Armin van Buuren's Armada imprint to equally mass appeal, landing on most charts worth mentioning.

"Straight To Your Heart" brilliantly explores the space between progressive house and piano-tinged ear-candy, resulting in a sound that is 100% Grum. It's exciting to see that the producer is nimble enough to not get trapped in early success—he's taking chances and pushing his sound towards new heights.
