Majestic Casual Will Get a Beats 1 Residency This Month

Radio host Zane Lowe announced news of the takeover on air today.

The last couple weeks have been a wild ride for Majestic Casual, one of dance music's most influential taste-making YouTube channels.

Last week the channel (which now boasts over 2.5 million followers) was terminated after Google received multiple claims of copyright infringement. This week it was re-instated following a public outcry and some negotiation between Google and the channel. Today, Beats 1 radio host Zane Lowe announced that they'd be tapped to take over the station with four shows in December.

This month, we are proud to announce the #Beats1Takeover will be @majesticcasual. Every weekend https://t.co/Y7NSIt9HHd for timezones.

Their month-long residency follows takeovers from Australian radio crew triple j and Mexican DJ collective NAAFI. The show goes down every Saturday, and you can check the Beats 1 homepage to find out what hour to tune in from your timezone.
