Earlier this week, online music retailer bandcamp announced that it would be donating all of their proceeds from purchases made on Friday, February 3 to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). UK artist Four Tet today shared that he will be also be donating the proceeds from today's sales of his music on the platform. He is one of over 150 artists and labels who are following bandcamp's lead, including Lobster Theremin, Suzi Analogue, Hyperdub, and DFA.

The move is in staunch opposition to the executive order targeting immigrants and refugees from seven predominantly Muslim countries. Earlier this week, Bandcamp's CEO wrote a blogpost about it, while Four Tet created an extensive playlist of music by artists hailing from those countries, including one of his collaborators Omar Souleyman.Other artists have shown their support in various ways. Sia and Grimes both matched donations to the ACLU up to $100,000, and Zedd yesterday shared the details for a fundraising benefit show with a heavyweight cast.
