If you hadn't heard of Brooke Henderson before this past weekend, there's a good chance you have now.

The Canadian teen made history Sunday, becoming the third-youngest LPGA Tour champion in history after winning the Cambia Portland Classic by eight strokes. At 17 years, 11 months and six days, she's one of three players to win an LPGA Tour event before turning 18. She's also the first Canadian to win since Lorie Kane captured the Takefuji Classic in 2001.

Henderson only graduated high school this past June and was too busy working—playing golf—to receive her diploma with the rest of her classmates. She was on the golf course, where she's earned over $600,000 this year in 10 events.

As a result of her dominant weekend performance, Henderson jumped 15 spots in the Women's World Golf Rankings to No. 17. Oh, and she won't even get her LPGA tour card until next year. Watch out golf world, here comes Brooke Henderson.
