Nick Hook and Novelist Team Up for Transatlantic Grime Anthem "Can't Tell Me Nothing"

After a handful of tracks including "1 Sec" and "Shook," not to mention his assist on Skepta's "Lyrics" from earlier this year, 19-year-old UK rapper and producer Novelist has firmly established himself as one of grime's rising stars. Following a recent trip to New York, the rising MC has shared his latest collaboration with Nick Hook, which was recorded at the Fool's Gold producer's Greenpoint studio.

Entitled "Can't Tell Me Nothing"—not to be confused with the Kanye West song of the same title—the track sees Novelist brazenly addressing naysayers over a suitably urgent beat, interspersed with dialogue from TV reports about the 2011 London riots.
