Sportsnet Hockey Panel Attacked by Collapsing Ceiling on Live TV

Wear your helmets next time, boys.

— Sportsnet (@Sportsnet)December 14, 2016

Sometimes on live television, unexpected shit goes down.

Producers mess up, hosts forget their lines, interns bring the talent coffee that's too cold, and, on occasion, a bunch of ceiling tiles forcefully plunge to the ground below—nearly decapitating everyone in range.

The latter actually happened Wednesday during Sportsnet's broadcast of its daily radio show, Hockey Central. As well known hockey analysts Daren Millard, Nick Kypreos and Doug MacLean casually bantered on, the set literally started collapsing as part of the roof caved in during the show. Cue the Rogers is cheap jokes.

No one was hurt, apparently, and the best news may be that the incident, along with all its related, glorious reactions, were captured on live TV during the radio program's television simulcast.

Gravity is a savage. Wear your helmets next time, boys.
