VICELAND shared the first full-length trailer today for What Would Diplo Do?, the upcoming fictional series starring James Van Der Beek as the Major Lazer founder as he tries to navigate day-to-day life. It will debut next month on Thursday, August 3, and based on this clip, WWDD looks like it will be just as hilarious as it sounds.

Diplo and Van Der Beek are both executive producing the series, which emerged out of a promo video produced for the Mad Decent Block Party last year, called "Day In the Life of Diplo." In the trailer Van Der Beek "makes new sounds" by tossing a violin in a blender, explains that there's no "I" in "team" but that there is one in "Diplo," and duels with a samurai sword—suffice to say, WWDD will be a little outrageous.
