Trinidadian producer Jillionaire today shared a new soca mix to coincide with this year's edition of Trinidad and Tobago's annual Carnival festival, taking place today and tomorrow. Fresh off of releasing his sublime single "Sunrise," the Major Lazer member uses the 20-minute session to show off his dexterity in navigating moods and tempos. The mix leads off at such a breakneck pace that it completely obliterates the listener's sense of time, but from there he lets things cool off a bit as he moves into more sensual territories, signaled by his standout remix of Machel Montano's January single "Fast Wine."

Jillionaire told THUMP about his intentions for the mix via email. "It's carnival time again here in Trinidad so I put together a twenty minute mix of my favorite songs from this year," he said. "It includes hits from soca king Machel Montano, two time international soca monarch Voice, and newcomer Uncle Ellis. Happy carnival!"

Listen to the mix and check out the tracklist below.
