A Pepper Spray Loving Lady Cop from Montreal Is Mad About a Porno

Thanks to some fast legal legwork, a new porno parody featuring Quebec’s most notoriously violent policewoman has been blocked, at least temporarily. To add pornographic insult to pornographic injury, its highly anticipated premiere at a club in Montreal called the Belmont has been cancelled. The porno in question is called Agent 728 XXX and it bills itself as the satire porn event of the year, locally speaking. There is no satirical porn premiere in Montreal that has even come close to generating the same amount of buzz. The hullabaloo all boils down to the person that Agent 728 XXX parodies—Montreal police officer Stefanie Trudeau, aka Agent 728—who is just about the best-known cop in Quebec, and for all the wrong reasons.

Stefanie got in hot water last spring during one of the interminable “Carré Rouge” protests from earlier this year that regularly blocked traffic, stressed out cops, and kinda annoyed everyone else. We can debate the merits of the protests against college and university tuition hikes all we want, but one thing is pretty clear: Montreal’s cops don’t take shit, and that was evidenced quite clearly when Stefanie Trudeau filled a yappy bystander’s mouth with pepper spray this past May. That’s what propelled Stefanie Trudeau’s name and badge number into public knowledge, and her penchant for strong-arming people she doesn’t like kept them there.

The scandal was, in true 21st Century fashion, caught on camera. In the clip, you can see Stefanie blasting pepper spray into two people's faces, then later, indiscriminately, at anyone nearby. 728 got in even more hot water in October, when she was caught, again on a cell phone camera, strangling and beating the shit out of a musician inside his house. As if that wasn’t bad enough, an audio recording of Stefanie shit-talking students, hipsters, protesters, and basically anyone else who isn’t a straight-laced fuckface like her leaked to the public. A French-language news report captured the audio recording in full. It's damning, graphic, and profane. After that fiasco, she was suspended, investigated, and still may be prosecuted.

Now, enter the pornographers. AD4 Distribution can’t talk about the film they made that features Québécois porn actress Alyson Queen as 728, but its president, André Grenier, told me that the premiere was cancelled because the venue didn’t have the correct permit to screen a fuck movie and serve booze at the same damn time. However, that didn’t stop the real 728 from having an injunction issued against screening the movie and warning everyone involved she’s considering legal action. The movie is blocked from distribution until December 10th.

Grenier, who sounds friendly enough over the phone (as most porn industry types do) doesn’t seem too worried about the legal fracas. His company’s website still features the movie’s trailer, both the SFW and definitely NSFW versions. According to the trailer, 728 bangs one guy wearing an Anonymous mask, screws a fellow dude-cop in a cop car, and takes part in a four-girl orgy. I’ve watched both versions of the trailer a few times now, and I can comfortably say with critical detachment, that this cheaply made porno movie is going to be hilarious.
