You know that art school student friend you have who projects videos on girls then takes photos of them? Jon Estwards has taken that technique and flipped it on its head in such a serious way that his work looks like it was taken by an alien photographer living inside of an underwater planet. Jon's weird, make-believe worlds enchanted us so much we put him in last year's Photo Issue, plus we exhibited his work all across Canada.

We recently asked him to send us some of his newest photos and he filled our inbox with these beautifully washed out pictures. We're still not entirely sure how he made these images (is that moss hanging off the models?) nor do we know where his eerie and fantastical ideas come from, but we're pretty sure it has something to do with being born in Windsor.
