Joe Budden Talks About a Very Bad Day at Work on 'The Therapist'

"As long as I'm okay, fuck the bystanders."

Joe Budden has found new fame as the co-host of Everyday Struggle, becoming infamous for his pull-no-punches critiques of younger rappers like Migos and Lil Yachty. In a deleted scene from his appearance on VICELAND's The Therapist, Budden divulges to Dr. Singh the vague but personal details of a recent incident where he "turned it up" and "almost lost [his] fucking job."

I felt like once again I was in a space of people that were not on the same level of thought and I had to resort to a lower tactic to show them.

Budden admits that he feels bad about feeling "vindicated" by stooping to that level and that, in that moment, he didn't care that he was in danger of being fired. Watch the full scene above.

The Therapist airs Tuesday nights at 10:30 PM EST on VICELAND.
