Exploding Cars and Trampolines

Is it luck that magnetizes a photographer to such things? Or does Carl just know how to smell a burning car from ten miles away?

Carl Heindl has always been a favourite of the VICE Canada dynasty—and that's not just because his sister got bookz. Carl's always been able to take the world and put it into a dark and gritty photographic plane, that constantly makes us wonder if he's just lucky to end up walking by exploding cars or trampolines that are precariously arranged under low ceilings with nearby chandeliers, or if he simply just magnetizes that kind of visual opportunity to his lens. Either way, we love his work and you probably do too. Click around to find out.
