Tuned Up Theo Epstein Drops F Bomb on Live TV, Plans to Go on a Bender

Holy bleepin' hell, the Cubs won the World Series in one of the craziest games you've ever seen. No matter what happened, Cubs fans would have been drunk till Thanksgiving. But luckily for them, they'll be happy drunks. Theo Epstein too.

He started celebrating last night, and if I had to guess, he might still be inebriated. But it made for some great TV.

First, we have Theo on the local Fox affiliate, dropping an F-bomb, not getting bleeped and rambling about the Red Sox. Someone asked about how he felt going through those tense moments during the game, and he compared it to the 2003 Red Sox team that eventually lost to the Yankees in a dramatic Game 7. You can't ever let yourself feel too high or too down because you're just one Aaron Boone home run from elimination. Talking about the moments leading up to all of that, Epstein said, on live TV: "People are like texting me 'congrats'. I'm like 'fuck you.'" The disdain in the "fuck you" really makes this clip.

Here he is abdicating his job and announcing he's going on a bender.

And, while he's at it, why not share the wealth with notorious Cubs fan Bill Murray who FS1 had interviewing folks in the locker room. After dousing each other with champagne, the two share a nice little moment. Epstein reminisces on the meaning of the title and it looks like Murray gets a little emotional, it could also be the champagne in his eyes, but lets go with emotional. "My mother thanks you," Murray says. "My father thanks you. My sisters thank you. My brother thanks you. I thank you."
