When your school has proved over and over again to have endemic problems surrounding campus rape, it's usually best not to react with threats of violence. Today, after Baylor women's basketball coach Kim Mulkey tallied her 500th win on senior day, she gave a speech in which she said, "If somebody around you and they ever say, 'I will never send my daughter to Baylor,' you knock them right in the face."Mulkey was addressing what she perceived to be negative press surrounding Baylor's athletics program—in the wake of several school officials failing to address sexual and domestic abuse allegations pertaining to athletes. Mulkey then followed up on her comment about knocking people in the face—which received applause—by saying, "because these kids are on this campus. I work here. My daughter went to school here.
