Rory McIlroy Decimates His 3-Wood After Bad Shot

It's good to see some unadulterated rage during the "gentleman's game."

Golf is a game of instruments. While it sometimes requires brute strength to thwack the ball far across the fairway as you possibly can, it's a bit like surgery, in that you're not going to use your forceps to cut open a man. You depend on the sharpness of the tool, its adequacy for the task. But after botching his shot at the British Open, Rory McIlroy will have nothing to do with his goddamn bone saw, err, 3-wood—apparently for the rest of existence.

After taking his second shot on the 16th hole and sending the ball straight onto the spectators pathway, McIlroy decided to smite his instrument with all his wrath, causing it to rupture into two distinct pieces:
