Little Dayton Flyers Pilot is Latest Example of March Sadness

Syracuse blows out Dayotn despite being the "underdog."

Love hurts. Love scars. Love wounds. When you love something so much, it's impossible to see it go, riding off into a fleeting sunset. And so depart teams from the Big Dance: with an L-shaped stamp and a poof of nothingness. Never again will that team have a 2016 season.

The latest exemplar of this brand of sorrow manifested itself in the littlest pilot—a Dayton Flyers fan—as he saw his team snuffed out in the first round against Syracuse (who is actually pretty bad this year—they lost to St. John's for Pete's sake). Despite the Flyers' jump to the No. 7 seed—compared to their No. 11 seed for the past two years—No. 10 seed Syracuse delivered a near-blowout, which ended in 70-51.

This little buddy knew exactly what was about to go down, even with nine minutes left—when this clip was shot—and he couldn't stop it. Love is like a flame, it burns you when it's hot. Love hurts. Ooo-oo love hurts.
