On-Ice AHL Brawl Continues Outside of Locker Room

Just your standard hockey fight.

Can't we all just get along?

A line brawl with under three minutes left in Saturday's game between Minnesota and St.Louis' AHL affiliates was ignited after Iowa Wild forward Kurtis Gabriel tried to deliver some free dental work to Chicago Wolves defenceman Vince Dunn in the form of a vicious cross check to the face. Dunn promptly responded by dropping his mitts and going after Gabriel, while Dunn's partner James Wisniewski got his fists wet when he jumped into the mix—and that's when shit really hit the fan.

The on-ice tilts resulted in several game misconducts and, after all their spirited tilts on the pond, the tensions spilled over into the hallway. As the four guilty parties headed off toward their respective locker rooms following the ejections, Dunn and Gabriel decided they weren't quite finished yet. After an initial tussle involving the four players, the video shows Gabriel pursue Dunn again as he went toward his room. After a brief (and I'm sure friendly) conversation, Dunn decided to finish it all off with a nasty right hook.

In case you were wondering, as I'm sure you were, Chicago took the hockey game 4-1, making it a successful day on the ice and in the alley for the Wolves.
