Chicago's Noname lived up to high critical expectations with her stellar debut album, Telefone last summer. But before it was released in July, the melodic rapper had already dropped a few loose tracks and shined as a featured artist on songs like Chance the Rapper's "Lost" and Donnie Trumpet's "Warm Enough." She's now established herself as one of rap's leading women with her penchant for storytelling and the musicality of her songs' production.

On a stop for her first national headlining tour, Noname recently performed some of Telefone's standout tracks for NPR's Tiny Desk concert series. Backed by her band, the Chicago emcee performed "Diddy Bop," "Yesterday," and a medley of "Reality Check," "Casket Pretty," and "Bye Bye Baby." Watch the performance below.
