Ellum Audio founder Eric Estornel, a.k.a. Maceo Plex, today announced his third album, Solar. The record is named after the producer's son and deals with the theme of fatherhood, according to a press release.

The album follows its 2016 precursor, the Journey To Solar LP, which Estornel previously described as "the tracks that didn't make [Solar]." Its lead single "Lucid Dreamer" is a galloping cosmic techno vignette, and it's streaming over at RA.

The 12" version of album track "Wash Away My Tears" was previously released on Estornel's 2015 EP Solar Sampler.

Solar will be released on June 16 by a new label from Estornel called Lone Romantic.

Solar tracklist:

1. Sparks Of Life
2. Polygon Pulse
3. Indigo
4. The Separation
5. Eternal 808
6. Kepler's Journey
7. Solar Wind
8. Wash Away My Tears
9. The Tesseract
10. Lucid Dreamer
11. Swan Dive
