Sweaty Photos from Detroit's Movement Festival

As a Detroit native, going to Movement has been a tradition of mine for the past ten years, but this was the first time I decided to document what happens there. Held in the birthplace of techno, the fest merges musical acts from the founders of electronic dance music with their contemporary counterparts. Movement attracts an audience composed of overlapping sub cultures, from young ravers to music scene veterans. The festival (and the culture that surrounds it) feels weird, intriguing, and authentic to the city.
