Down Time: July Talk's Drummer Is Way Into Birding

Looking through the Instagram account of Danny Miles, you might be more inclined to think he's a retired librarian rather than the drummer behind indie rockers July Talk. That's because it's dedicated to Danny's fascination with birding, the act of finding and photographing both common and rare species of birds from around the world. As much as this quiet and solitary activity contrasts with his evenings making as much noise on stage as possible, we learned how both of the rocker's passions actually benefit the other.
