joan's "tokyo" Is for Anyone Who's Ever Crushed Hard

Overalls are a sign of honor, talent, trustworthiness, and good taste. We’re pretty sure that it’s scientifically impossible to wear them without displaying the aforementioned traits. So it’s no surprise that overall-wearing Arkansas band joan are very good at what they do, which is making excellent music.

The alt-pop duo, who met when they were playing a show together while in different projects, are premiering their new track with us today. The song "tokyo" follows in the footsteps of their previous releases, "take me on" and "love somebody like you,” giving listeners a nostalgic 80s sound that still feels modern. The duo’s ode to “that moment of falling for someone but your time is running out” is very relatable party fuel that you can’t help but have a good deal of fun to.
