Cardale Jones Graduates from Ohio State, Honors Famous "We Ain't Come Here to Play School" Tweet

Seems like he eventually did come around to play school. Congrats, Cardale.

Buffalo Bills quarterback Cardale Jones has a good sense of humor about himself. When Jones was a third-string QB as a freshman at Ohio State, he once tweeted and then immediately deleted some words of wisdom, "we ain't come here to play school," which, you know, is an interesting point in the unpaid professional NCAA athlete kind of sense.

But today, Cardale Jones officially graduated from Ohio State—with a bachelor degree in African-American Studies—and so he decided to honor the moment the best way he could: with a righteous self-own/reclamation of his famous tweet. Not to mention the impressive mortarboard work to fit everything in.

It wasn't the first time that Jones called himself out for the tweet. In 2015, three years after the infamous tweet, Jones walked everything back, doing a veritable time machine slap in the face for talking shit about his schooling:

#TBT still can't believe I tweeted something as stupid as this but hey, we live and we learn, after your religion/ pic.twitter.com/mqCLK2uEHw
