Formed in 2013 by Moleskin, DJ Game, and DJ Name, London's Goon Club Allstars imprint has become one of the most cherished in the club music scene, and having clocked up releases by the likes of MssingNo, Rudeboyz, and Gundam, it's not hard to see why. If you like your club-orientated sounds forward-thinking then you'll have probably picked all the 12"s up already.

Next month sees the crew dropping some serious South African heat courtesy of gqom main man DJ Lag. The Durban-based producer's eponymous EP—which arrives on the November 11—is a fast and furious four tracker that shows just why Lag's so revered in the scene.

This afternoon we're letting you have an exclusive listen to the disorientating and deadly "Umlilo" which you can hear below. Clocking in at nearly seven minutes, it's a seriously dark thing, all clanks and rumbles, ghostly hisses and heavyweight percussive thwacks. The rest of the EP's just as good so make sure you save that pocket money and are ready to splurge in a fortnight's time.

The DJ Lag EP drops on November 11th via Goon Club Allstars. Pre-order it here.
