Stream Odonis Odonis' New Record "Hard Boiled Soft Boiled" and Destroy Your Cubicle

The Toronto's band's sophomore record is perfect for destruction followed by contemplation.

Life is never fair. On the way to work today, I got caught in the rain—well, not rain, but that bullshit mist that happens in New York that makes it feel like you're walking through a cloud of God's tears—and by the time I got to the office, I was fucking soaked. It made me want to flip the Noisey desk over and rage, so I went ahead and did that (RIP the Noisey desk) and while I destroyed it, I put on Odonis Odonis' new record Hard Boiled Soft Boiled (Buzz Records), which we are exclusively streaming below, because the Toronto's group's sophomore album is the perfect soundtrack for making you feel like you can beat the World's Strongest Man in a contest of lifting giant rocks or whatever the hell else those guys do. And then what's more is, after you bench press the world, the band delivers some hazy shoegaze for you to put on while you drink beers and contemplate your victory and what it all means, man.

Anyway, Hard Boiled Soft Boiled is the follow-up to the group's critically acclaimed debut Hollandaze, and comes from the same glorious DIY scene that birthed Metz, HSY, and Drake (ha ha). I saw these dudes in Montreal this past fall at M for Montreal, and they were one of the festival's best performances, so we're all pretty stoked on this one. Thanks, Canada!

Odonis Odonis' Hard Boiled Soft Boiled is out April 15 via Buzz Records.
