Here's The First Look at 2016 Arboretum Music Festival's Incredibly Promising Line Up

The Ottawa-based festival is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a bang.

It's festival season and don't we know it. Taking place on the grounds of Ottawa City Hall's Marion Dewar Plaza, Arboretum Music Festival will return for its fifth year from August 17 to August 20 with a lineup of eclectic artists. The festival's lineup includes Ottawa noise rock natives Metz, Cali's alt hip hop artist Mykki Blanco, New York-based hip-hop artist Junglepussy and Canadian rock icons Sloan performing seminal record One Chord To Another. Other acts include Dilly Dally, Doomsquad and Jeremy Gara of Arcade Fire's new solo project with more to be announced soon. In 2015, the festival saw the likes of U.S. Girls, Braids and Hayden. Clearly, it has since grown into something much bigger this year.

Aside from music, the Arboretum festival village will also feature vendors by Ottawa's very own slow goods supplier N-Product, a beer garden by breweries Beau's and Beyond The Pale. A second announcement will be made in May announcing local acts, cultural talks and much more. See you there!
