Game of Thrones' Raleigh Ritchie Can't Outrun Depression on "Never Say Die"

Grey Worm got vocals!

If you follow Game of Thrones (last night was epic!) you're probably familiar with British actor Jacob Anderson. He plays Grey Worm, the badass soldier in the employ of Emilia Clarke's beloved dragon queen Daenerys Targaryen. You might not know he's also a singer. Anderson's dropped a string of EP's and singles as Raleigh Ritchie, making a splash overseas last spring with "Stronger than Ever." He's just released "Never Say Die" in collaboration with Kendrick Lamar associate Sounwave, who supplies the moody, trap-infused sonics that bolster Ritchie's downcast travel stories. The duo collaborated on 2013's "Overdose" and Ritchie tells Fader they've already got another one in the can.

Speaking of Thrones, did you catch Mastodon's Brann Dailor, Brent Hinds and Bill Kelliher guesting in last night's episode? Without giving too much away, they crushed. Mastodon's also featured on the second edition of Game of Thrones' absurd official mixtape Catch the Throne, performing "White Walker" in a tracklist that somehow fits a Ty Dolla $ign song next to a Killswitch Engage one. If you ever wanted to know what Talib Kweli thinks of blood magic, check that out.
