Hey Y'all, Let's Relax and Listen to This B-Side from Diamond Rugs, "Look in Your Eyes"

The alt-country super group is back.

You know Diamond Rugs. It's that side project that features pretty much every person who's written a succesful broken-hearted ballad in the past five years—John McCauley (Deer Tick), Robbie Crowell (Deer Tick), Ian Saint Pé (ex-Black Lips guitarist), Steve Berlin (Los Lobos), T. Hardy Morris (Dead Confederate), and Bryan Dufresne (Six Finger Satellite). Last month, the group put out their second record Cosmetics, and now they're following up with an unreleased b-side called "Look in Your Eyes." As you'd probably expect, the song puts McCauley's gravely voice on display, singing about making mistakes and trying to move on with his life. This is the kind of music you want to listen to while sitting around a camp fire, enjoying a Miller High Life, telling regretful stories, and then spending the next day laughing because you can't remember anything that happened.
