Last night, Skepta uploaded a special new track to his Soundcloud in tribute to his late friend Lukey Maxwell, a 22-year old man close to many on the London grime scene, who was murdered late last week in London’s Northumberland Park.

The track, titled “Lukey World”, is understandably pensive but powerful. "I can hear your voice in my head, like Skeppy keep moving forward" he raps, with heavy reflective bars and a goosebump beat. As Skepta wrote on his Twitter a day ago: “The youngest, the best, the truest. I don’t know how we’re gonna move forward but we are. For you Lukey”. Listen via Skepta’s Soundcloud.

The track will also get some extra eyes on the charity fundraiser 7-a-side football tournament that’s happening tomorrow in Tottenham to raise money for Lukey Maxwell’s family. Check his Instagram for more info.
